Best Things to Do in Copenhagen
New Port
A real beauty is the New Harbour Nyhavn. The colorful house facades of the crooked gabled homes are one of the most famous landmarks of the city. Ideally, start your city break in Copenhagen right here. There is always a lot going on at Nyhavn and it is no longer an insider tip. Thanks to social media, this spot is a trend spot and it gets busier every year. Our tip: come early in the morning or later in the evening to escape the crowds of tourists and take your photos.
Round Tower
Round Tower is located in the middle of the pedestrian street in the centre. It is the oldest functioning observatory in Europe. From here you have a great view of the old town. The climb here is much easier as it is via a spiral path leading upwards.
The Little Mermaid
Small but popular. I guess you’ll be surprised too the first time you discover the Little Mermaid. Because it is much smaller than you imagine when you see photos of it. The 125 cm tall statue in Copenhagen’s harbor nevertheless attracts everyone.
Reffen Street Food Market
The Reffen street food market at Refshaleøen shipyard near the harbor has over 50 stalls. Great importance is attached to sustainability and grown ingredients.
